Wednesday 11th December 2013, 7.30pm – The Good Ship, Kilburn
Listen Softly London presents an evening of poetry, music and storytelling to tantalise the ears and inspire the heart.
Rob Auton was the funniest person at the 2013 Edinburgh Festival. Not a Chinese Wispa in sight here, just gripping words delivered by a master of the craft.
Anthony Hett fancies himself as a punk rock poet – but you can’t always get what you want. A member of the Keats House Poets, he has performed throughout the UK.
Aki is a poet and novelist who has all but made her own the medium of micropoetry.
Sara is a rising star of the London spoken word scene receiving much adulation for her performances in readings and slams across the city.
Daniel is a writer and comedian who was once stung by a jellyfish on holiday.
Ceri-May
Ceri-May descends from the North, has a Welsh name and speaks Tibetan…but her storytelling (and felt making) is what really sets her apart.
Mike West
Mike West is a storyteller of epic magnitude and runs the highly acclaimed Camden School of Enlightenment.
Writer and founder of Listen Softly London will be MC on the night.
Tickets will cost £5 on the door.
All profits from this event will be split between the Maytree Sanctuary for the Suicidal and The Tope Project.
